THE SINNERS PRAYER
Question: What is the sinners prayer ?
Answer: This is a Prayer that you say to GOD when you understand that you are a sinner and in need of a Savior, a redeemer to GOD, that Savior is JESUS, who is the CHRIST.
John 3:16 {NIV} 16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 10:9 {NIV} I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.
Romans 10:9-13 {NIV} That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. 11As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.12For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
Question: How can someone like me ever be forgiven ?
Answer: Jesus knew this about EVERYONE , and paid the price for all. Remember in Gods eye’s all have sinned & have fell short EXCEPT JESUS. And he died as much for you, as he did for me, or any human born, or any that will ever be born. All he asks is that you trust in him, believe in him, and you will live forever in paradise.
Here’s how you do it:
Heavenly Father I come to you in prayer asking for the forgiveness of my Sins. I confess with my mouth and believe with my heart that Jesus is your Son, And that he died on the Cross at Calvary that I might be forgiven and have Eternal Life in the Kingdom of Heaven. Father, I believe that Jesus rose from the dead and I ask you right now to come in to my life and be my personal Lord and Savior. I repent of my Sins and will Worship you all the day's of my Life!. Because your word is truth, I confess with my mouth that I am Born Again and Cleansed by the Blood of Jesus! In Jesus Name, Amen.
If you have said this, welcome to the family of Jesus who is the Christ. You have just made the most important decision that you will ever make. I encourage you to read the Bible, it is the words of God and his laws.
Question : I know that many people might ask now what do I do ? Answer: Things To Help You On Your Way.
The Lord’s prayer spoken by Jesus when he was asked how do you pray. Matthew 6; 10-14 {KJV} Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory. for ever and ever. Amen
A sermon from Jesus known as the BE-ATTITUDES. Matthew 5;1-10 {NIV} 51Now when he saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, 2and he began to teach them, saying: 3"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. 5Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. 6Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. 7Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. 8Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. 9Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God. 10Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
A life lesson from Jesus. Luke 12:15 {NIV} " 15Then he said to them, "Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions."
Hope from GOD Psalm 23 {NIV} 1The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. 2He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
More encouraging words of Jesus John 16 :33 {NIV} 33"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

Understanding Basic Christianity : I decided to add this after a few young people asked me some questions.
Trinity : is the 3 parts of GOD, the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit - the living spirit force of GOD that is poured out to Christians.
Matthew 28:19 {NIV} 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit
Pentecost :Was the actual day in which the Holy Spirit was poured out on Christian believers.
Acts 2:1-6 {NIV} 21When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. 5Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. 6When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking in his own language.
Lent : is in SIMPLE words for us to remember why Christ had to die in our place, for our sins. Most Christians pray with thankfulness for GODS patience and Jesus’ sacrifice for us. Many denominations will fast and give up certain things at this time in homage to Christ.
Ash Wednesday : The Ash is a reminder that we are sinful and will return to dust, as we deserve. Only through the sacrifice of Jesus who is the Christ are we redeemed to GOD the creator Father.
Palm Sunday :Is remembered as the day Jesus came to Jerusalem with thousands proclaiming him messiah. These same people would be fooled by the powers of the day to crucify him in just a few days.
Good Friday : Is good to us humans because it is the day that Jesus allowed himself to be put to death in order to pay the price for us. Easter : is of course the day that Jesus proved to all that he was indeed the Son of GOD by rising from the dead, having paid in full for the sins of the world.{ He was a sinless sacrifice } With the cycle now complete when we die we can now go to heaven if we believe in Jesus.
Hallelujah : Is an old Hebrew word which means ‘ Praise the Lord”
Advent : In Simple words it is the examination & celebration of GODS promises of a savior to the world being fulfilled in the birth of Jesus on Christmas.
John 14: 6 {NIV} 6Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
I recently visited my Mother and one of my nieces was there visiting also, and she was watching a show on the Disney channel. As I was talking to them it occurred to me that the shows content was about how a family of witches were unhappy that their son was chasing after a daughter of vampires. The show was basically saying that the acceptance of people and things, in what we think of as immoral or unacceptable is in fact acceptable.{ it’s content was more than puppy love} Anyway as I was trying to talk to my niece about how all things are not acceptable in GODS eyes she quickly says “ you are not supposed to judge’. To which I said you are right only GOD and Christ are to judge and I tried to explain that GOD loves the sinner but hates the sin, and he wishes for all of us to follow his rules. My first impression was that she tried to hit me with kid logic on the subject but part of me wonders if the school system or the media has influenced the minds of the young to the point to where their first reaction to immoral behavior is acceptance and tolerance. I felt that she just did not know how GOD feel’s about certain issues so here are some more basic Christian rules for us to remember, and to live by.
Witchcraft, Horoscopes, Palm Readers, Tarot cards ,Astrology, Occult, Saiances, ETC
{ The context of this verse is when the Jewish people entered into the land of milk and honey Israel - The promised land. }
Deuteronomy 18:9-12 {NIV} 9When you enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. 10Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, 11or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. 12Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD, and because of these detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you.
How GOD feels about unnatural acts.
Leviticus 18:22 {NIV} 22" `Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.
How GOD feels about false religion.
Jeremiah 10:11 {NIV} 11"Tell them this: `These gods, who did not make the heavens and the earth, will perish from the earth and from under the heavens.' "
Deuteronomy 13:1-4 {NIV} 131If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a miraculous sign or wonder, 2and if the sign or wonder of which he has spoken takes place, and he says, "Let us follow other gods" (gods you have not known) "and let us worship them," 3you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The LORD your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul. 4It is the LORD your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him.
How GOD feels about corruption, & Lying.
Ecclesiastes 7:7 {NIV} 7Extortion turns a wise man into a fool, and a bribe corrupts the heart.
Proverbs 6:12-15 {NIV} 12A scoundrel and villain, who goes about with a corrupt mouth, 13 who winks with his eye, signals with his feet and motions with his fingers, 14 who plots evil with deceit in his heart-- he always stirs up dissension. 15Therefore disaster will overtake him in an instant; he will suddenly be destroyed--without remedy.
Proverbs 6:16-19 {NIV} 16There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: 17haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, 18a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, 19a false witness who pours out lies and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers.
What Jesus says about it. { The washed robes are the saved in Christ Jesus.}
Revelation 22: 12-15 {NIV} 12"Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. 13I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. 14"Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. 15Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
I found this side by side comparison online. http://godstenlaws.com/ten-commandments/index.html
Following are the Ten Commandments listed in Exodus 20 as given to the Children of Israel at Mount Sinai. They are also found in Deuteronomy 5. The Ten Commandments here are presented in three different versions of the Bible. King James Version, New International Version & the, New Living Translation. 1. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. King James Version 1. You shall have no other gods before me. New International Version 1. Do not worship any other gods besides me. New Living Translation
2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. King James Version 2. You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments. New International Version 2. Do not make idols of any kind, whether in the shape of birds or animals or fish. You must never worship or bow down to them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God who will not share your affection with any other god! I do not leave unpunished the sins of those who hate me, but I punish the children for the sins of their parents to the third and fourth generations. But I lavish my love on those who love me and obey my commands, even for a thousand generations. New Living Translation
3. Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. King James Version 3. 4. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. King James Version 4. Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates. For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. New International Version 4. Remember to observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days a week are set apart for your daily duties and regular work, but the seventh day is a day of rest dedicated to the Lord your God. On that day no one in your household may do any kind of work. This includes you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, your livestock, and any foreigners living among you. For in six days the Lord made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and everything in them; then he rested on the seventh day. That is why the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart as holy. New Living Translation

You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor. New International Version 10. Commandments spoken of by Jesus.
John 13:34 (King James Version) 34A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
Matthew 22:34-40 {NIV} 34Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. 35One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" 37Jesus replied: " `Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: `Love your neighbor as yourself.' 40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Immanuel or Emmanuel Hebrew for God is with us The Gospel of Matthew (1:23) expressly identifies the Emmanuel with Jesus the Messiah
